On 21 February 2019, His Excellency Mr. Cherdkiat Atthakor, Ambassador of Thailand, made a courtesy call on Dr. Richard Sezibera, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Rwanda. At the meeting, the two sides discussed the ways to further enhance bilateral relations. Ambassador Cherdkiat Atthakor also asked for Rwanda's support for Thailand's candidature to the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) for the term 2020-2022.
